The Food & Drink Festival is a great day out for all ages with plenty to do, see, eat and drink. With the Festival taking place over the bank holiday weekend, it means you get to do something special with the kids over the long weekend!
Join in the supervised hands-on cookery workshops taught by the award-winning team from Fun Kitchen at no extra cost. Children can have the chance to get their hands mucky and have fun by making their own Oaty Muffins and Spiced Swirls to cook and take home.
Darts Farm will provide a chance for young visitors to become a ‘Mini Darts Farmer’ in the Knowledge Tipi, take part in pasty making lessons with Chunk of Devon and get involved with its Pizza Parties!
- Live Better Marquee – Chocolicious Chocolate Treats – the Aztec Way
On Monday 6th May, children will have the chance to learn about all things chocolate! From grinding the cocoa beans, to tasting the finished product, children will be guided through the process of preparing a special chocolate drink just like the ancient Mayans and the Aztecs did.
- NFU’s Discovery Barn
The Discovery Barn is a mobile trailer involving games and fascinating facts to enthuse children to learn about agriculture and where their food comes from.
