Music has always been a hugely popular part of the festival and this year we really wanted to take things up a notch. Enjoy live bands and talented musicians in the Exeter Castle courtyard throughout the day with fabulous street food stalls, cocktail bar and the festival bar stocked with local ales and ciders to keep you fed and watered.

The Exeter Beats music festival is sponsored by Pavey Group a Gallagher Company and bar sponsor Otter Brewery bringing three nights of top quality entertainment to the city. In addition to live bands throughout the day at the food festival, the 3 Exeter Beats evening gigs have top headliners ready to entertain the crowds.
Friday 3rd May, DJ Kristian Nairn – a house DJ playing from 9.30pm until late. The night will start with a DJ set from Radio Exe followed by live music from West Country party band New Heroes.
Saturday 4th May, an 80s and 90s vibe on Saturday night with Scott Mills (from BBC Radio 1) from 9.30pm treating visitors to an evening of 80s, 90s and party classics. Plus lively sets from Devon’s very own Conscious Club and DJ Aldo Vanucci.
Sunday 5th May, enjoy a night of party anthems with Nick Grimshaw (from BBC Radio 1) from 9.30pm until late. Plus local acclaimed band Pattern Pusher kicking things off at 7pm, followed by house sensation DJ Freejak.
